Boulder City is getting a civic twist on the town hall. BoulderCity.com reported that Boulder City Social, in conjunction with Boulder City Podcast, will host a live podcast with the City Council as Election Day approaches.

It is a small-city move with big local significance. In a place where residents often want direct access to decision-makers, a live conversation can feel more immediate than a formal meeting agenda.

The format also reflects how local governments are trying to meet people where they are. For newcomers to Boulder City, it is a glimpse of a community that still prizes face-to-face engagement and neighborly debate.

As the election nears, the event gives residents a chance to hear from council members in a less scripted setting. In a region where growth often outpaces civic intimacy, Boulder City’s approach stands out for its simplicity: show up, listen and ask questions.
