The expansion gives the festival a larger footprint at a time when Summerlin continues to draw families looking for easy access to culture without heading to the Strip. For west valley residents, it is one more sign that the neighborhood’s calendar now rivals older parts of the city for marquee community events.
FOX5 said the festival will take over Downtown Summerlin, turning familiar walkways into a temporary arts corridor. That mix of public art, entertainment and local foot traffic has helped the event endure for three decades.
