Another familiar Strip venue is on the way out. Mama Rabbit, the tequila bar at Park MGM, is closing, and MGM Resorts said a new concept will debut in the space during the first half of 2027, according to the Las Vegas Sun.

The shutdown adds to a steady churn at one of the Strip’s most closely watched resorts, where operators regularly refresh dining and nightlife to keep pace with changing tastes and spending habits. For locals, it is another sign that even successful concepts can be temporary on a corridor built on reinvention.

The Las Vegas Sun reported the closure in a business brief, noting that Park MGM’s other nightlife options remain in place for now. MGM Resorts did not immediately detail what will replace Mama Rabbit, but the timeline points to a long transition rather than an immediate swap.

For residents who use the Strip as much for date nights and visiting friends as for tourism, the change is a reminder that the city’s hospitality scene rarely stands still for long.
