Power has been restored in part of Henderson after a cable failure knocked out electricity for more than 1,900 customers Friday morning, FOX5 reported. NV Energy crews responded to the outage and got service back on later in the day.

For residents, the episode is a reminder of how quickly a localized equipment problem can ripple through a fast-growing suburb. Henderson has become one of Southern Nevada’s most important residential and business hubs, which makes even short outages a real inconvenience for homes, offices and traffic signals.

The restoration also shows the value of a utility response that moves quickly when thousands are affected. In a region where heat, growth and infrastructure demands can collide, reliability remains one of the most basic measures of public trust.

Details & Information: FOX5 reported the outage affected more than 1,900 customers in Henderson. Read more at fox5vegas.com.
