A new discount grocer is set to give Cadence residents another budget-friendly shopping option as Henderson keeps adding everyday conveniences.

Henderson shoppers in Cadence will soon get a new place to stretch their grocery budget. Grocery Outlet is set to open Sept. 3 at 879 E. Lake Mead Parkway, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, bringing another discount option to one of the valley’s fastest-growing master-planned communities.

The opening is a small but meaningful win for residents who have watched the southeast valley steadily fill in with more retail, restaurants and services. For families in Cadence and nearby neighborhoods, a closer grocery store can mean fewer cross-town errands and a little less pressure on weekly food bills.

Grocery Outlet has built its business around lower prices than traditional supermarkets, and the Henderson location adds to that model in a part of the valley where convenience matters as much as cost. The store’s arrival also reflects the broader pace of development in Henderson, where new housing often brings a wave of neighborhood-serving businesses behind it.

The opening comes as the Las Vegas area continues to see steady expansion outside the Strip, with residents increasingly looking for practical additions closer to home. In that context, a new discount grocer may not be flashy, but it is exactly the kind of amenity that can change daily life for the people living nearby.
