It helps explain why the valley continues to attract new hotel concepts, restaurant openings and entertainment investments tied to the gaming economy. For newcomers, it is a snapshot of the city’s enduring draw and the scale of the industry that still anchors much of the region.
The Review-Journal’s gaming column noted that Las Vegas continues to dominate a field where competition from other destinations has grown sharper. Yet the Strip’s mix of large resorts, off-Strip casinos and a constant churn of attractions still sets the standard.
