North Las Vegas to host Hispanic Heritage celebration

The city's sixth annual event will return to Craig Ranch Regional Park next month with music, food and community pride.

North Las Vegas will host its sixth annual Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Craig Ranch Regional Park, according to the Las Vegas Sun. The free community gathering is one of the city’s more visible fall traditions.

Events like this do more than fill a park. They give families a chance to gather, celebrate culture and connect with neighbors in a city that has grown increasingly diverse.

Craig Ranch Regional Park offers the kind of open public space that can turn a civic event into a neighborhood occasion. For residents, especially newcomers looking to plug into local life, these are the moments that help a place feel like home.

The celebration also reflects North Las Vegas’s effort to mark the month with something public and accessible, not just symbolic. In a valley built on transience, that kind of rootedness stands out.
